On average, Google processes over 40,000 search queries every second. This translates to about 3.5 billion searches each and every day. We have apps like Siri, Google Home, Alexa and Echo that allow us to simply “ask” for information with a voice command. Information is easily available to us and people are asking for it. Not only are people asking Google for information, they are also searching for “How to” do things. Fortune Magazine reports that the top ten “How to” queries on Google for 2017 were:

1.   How to tie a tie

2.   How to kiss

3.   How to get pregnant

4.   How to lose weight

5.   How to draw

6.   How to make money

7.   How to make pancakes

8.   How to write a cover letter

9.   How to make French toast

10.  How to lose belly fat

Besides Google, people who want to learn by seeing rather than reading turn to YouTube, another Google franchise to search for how to do things. Ask any millennial how they learn how to do things and the resounding answer will be YouTube.
